FAQ

Deactivation of the service requires you to stop the ‘call forward’ to our server and set it up to your operator voicemail – in other words, you need to ask your operator to send your unanswered calls to their voicemail phone number instead of ours.

If you uninstalled the app without properly deactivating our service beforehand then we are still receiving your voicemail.  You will need to call a number like ##004# to deactivate Voxist, but the number may be different depending on your operator.

Please email us at support@voxist.com with the name of your operator, your phone model, and the type of subscription you have and we will send you the correct deactivation number to revert you back to your operator’s voicemail.

In order to activate Voxist, you need to setup up a ‘call forward’ with your operator – in other words, you need to ask your operator to send your unanswered calls to our voicemail phone number instead of theirs.

Go to the blue Profile tab in the app, and then tap on Settings (it’s the wheel icon on the top right!). Within the Settings menu you will see an option to Activate/Deactivate Voxist. Tap on this option and then choose Activate Voxist. Once activation is completed you will see a message from your operator letting you know that activation was successful.

Some operators don’t use standard codes,or have bugs in their networks for certain subscribers. In case you get an error message, please email us at support@voxist.com. Send us the name of your operator, your phone model, and the type of subscription you have and we will do our best to help get you up and running with your Voxist application.

Please email us at support@voxist.com and we will respond to your query as soon as we can.

Voxist allows you to create customized greetings for any of your callers or groups of callers. Create professional greetings for work, and/or delight friends and family with greetings you make just for them.

Enter the “Greetings” tab on the application, and tap on “Create a personal greeting.” Record your greeting, and then “Select and save contacts.” Enter a name for that particular greeting (i.e. Professional, My Love, Best Friends), and choose the callers whom you’d like to receive that greeting. “Save” and you’re good to go!

Don’t forget you can turn the personalized greetings on/off by using the toggle switch. To delete a personalized greeting, tap on the greeting and click “Delete this greeting.”

You can use Voxist if you have an iPhone or Android phone.
It works with most operators on Monthly plans, rarely on Prepaid plans.
